Rename a secure device connector

Rename a Secure Device Connector to provide a more descriptive or meaningful identifier for easier management and identification within the CDO interface.

You can customize the name of any Secure Device Connector to better reflect its purpose, location, or function in your network infrastructure. This helps with organization and identification when managing multiple connectors.

Procedure

Step 1

In the left pane, choose Administration > Integrations > Secure Connectors.

Step 2

Select the SDC you want to rename.

Step 3

In the Details pane, click the edit icon The image illustrates the process of renaming a Secure Device Connector, highlighting the interface elements involved in customizing the connector's name for better organization and identification within a network infrastructure. next to the name of the SDC.

Step 4

Rename the SDC.

This new name will appear wherever the SDC name appears in the Security Cloud Control interface including the Secure Device Connectors filter of the Security Devices pane.
