Specify a default Secure Device Connector

This task allows you to designate a specific SDC as the default connector that will be automatically associated with devices during the onboarding process.

When you onboard devices that connect to Security Cloud Control Firewall Management through an SDC, they are associated with the default SDC for your tenant unless you specify another SDC during onboarding.

You can specify which SDC is selected by default on the Secure Connectors page:

Procedure

Step 1

In the left pane, choose Administration > Secure Connectors.

Step 2

Select the SDC that you want to be the default.

Step 3

In the Actions pane, click Make Default. If you don't see the Make Default action, then the SDC already is the default SDC.

The selected SDC is now configured as the default connector and will be automatically assigned to new devices during onboarding unless another connector is explicitly specified.
