Meraki Templates
A Meraki template is a network configuration that you can share with multiple sites or networks. You can bind individual site networks to a template network. Any changes you make to a single template automatically update all bound networks. You can view bound networks as bound devices in Security Cloud Control. This configuration is ideal for applying a single policy across multiple networks in different locations.
For more information about configuring more than one network to a single template, refer to Managing Multiple Networks with Configuration Templates.. For detailed information about Meraki templates, template planning, and setup, refer to Meraki Templates Best Practices.
Manage Meraki templates in the same way as you manage Meraki devices. First, configure your template with the Meraki dashboard, then onboard it to Security Cloud Control. When you onboard a template to Security Cloud Control, any existing rules or groups of IPs are read into Security Cloud Control and translated into objects. After syncing, view the template name and the number of associated networks (as bound devices) in the Device Details pane on the Security Devices page. You can also manage, modify, and deploy the policies associated with the template and the bound networks from Security Cloud Control.
