Configure auto-accept changes

This task enables automatic acceptance of out-of-band changes on security devices, reducing manual intervention when configuration changes are detected.

When devices are managed through Security Cloud Control, out-of-band changes can occur when configurations are modified directly on the device. The auto-accept feature automatically incorporates these changes without requiring manual review.

Procedure

Step 1

Log in to Security Cloud Control using an account with Admin or Super Admin privileges.

Step 2

Choose Administration > General Settings.

Step 3

In the Tenant Settings area, click the toggle to Enable the option to auto-accept device changes. This enables the Auto-Accept Changes menu option to appear in the Conflict Detection menu on the Security Devices page.

Step 4

In the left pane, click Security Devices and select the device for which you want to automatically accept out-of-band changes.

Step 5

In the Conflict Detection menu, select Auto-Accept Changes in the drop-down menu.

The device configuration screen shows the auto-accept changes feature enabled, allowing automatic incorporation of out-of-band changes without manual approval.

The device is now configured to automatically accept out-of-band changes. When configuration changes are detected on the device, they will be automatically incorporated without requiring manual review or approval.
